The same is true for stocks."I liked how the author described to readers different brokers and their functions.

It has great information to get you started. I purchased this book for my wife who kept hounding me about getting into the stock market. I told her that she should learn as much as possible before investing.I have formal training in personal finance, and I wound up reading the book myself.

I give it a top review for the beginner interested in the Stock Market. Stock Investing for Dummies is the first in the "for dummies" series that I've ever read, and it is so easy to understand, and gives such excellent step by step strategies that I both recommend it to all interested in the subject, and was urged to go back to the "for dummies" series for another text book.
